Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 with Redsn0w, iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, iPod

This video will show you how to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 with Redsn0w Windows 8, iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, iPod Touch.

Hi All
The above video will help you Jailbreak your iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, iPod Touch devices running 6.1.3 firmware.
In this video I was using windows 8.1 and had quite a few frustrating moments where the Jailbreak wouldn’t work. The error I was getting was exploit failed error.
All I can say is make sure you are running Redsn0w in Windows XP compatibility mode, by right clicking on Redsn0w and go into the compatibility tab.
Also try setting your CPU to affinity. All the details are in the video so if you follow it closely you should be able to Jailbreak your iOS device without any problems.

Good luck.
Feel free to leave some feedback if you get stuck.

Cheers
Matt

  1. Sir,

Thank you for this blog, it helps me a lot, but I’m really stuck into this “usb communication problem” thing. And I only have two ports for my iPhone 3gs version 4.2.1…
The are two reasons of why I want to jailbreak my phone, 1. to unlock the carrier 2. because I want to install WAZE, and the original version is not sooo accurate and slow,

I’m currently using iPhone 5 for waze but I am worrying about my battery.
I have once got succeed in jailbreaking the 3gs and I was so proud of it, the waze was also good and fast, but then I cannot unlock it to another carrier so when I tried again to jailbreak, I would always fail.

PLease let me know what should I do.
    I owe it from you.

    • i need this info too i am trying to jailbreak my old 3gs on 6.1.6 but cant. i have tried on redsnow and p0sixspwn but all redsnow is saying is exploit failed and p0sixspwn just crashes 🙁
